Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Friends and Family,

It has been such a wonderful year for our family; filled with many blessings.  We are grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives and the love we have from our Heavenly Father. 

Here is our list of top 11 in 2011 in no particular order…

1.       Quinton traveled to Spain over Spring Break on an educational tour with several of his students.

2.       We went with Courtney’s family on a trip to Lake Powell and stayed on a house boat. 

3.       Quinton was called to be the Bishop in our church.  He is staying super busy, but is doing a great job getting the ward organized.

4.        Courtney started selling Usborne Books and has really enjoyed having a small business and loves the great books she gets for the kids.

5.       All 4 of us ran a 5K in September.   The kids enjoyed the stroller ride and Quinton and Courtney enjoyed the burning in their lungs!

6.       We took several short vacations including Arizona to visit Courtney’s cousin, Idaho to visit Quinton’s family, Utah to visit several family members, and a ranch in Colorado to visit Courtney’s aunt and uncle (Kylee got to ride her first horse here).

7.       Jaxson turned 1!  He loves to walk all over the place trying to keep up with his sister.  He loves balls… which his daddy is very happy about.

8.       We finished our basement!  Everything has been completely gutted and redone on our house now.  We love our home and we learned so much.  Courtney’s parents and Quinton’s brothers/brothers-in-laws were a great help throughout the project.  Visitors are welcome!

9.       Quinton finished his teaching degree, took the GRE and will start a masters in school counseling in the summer.

10.   Kylee will turn 3 on December 29^th.  She loves to read books, play pretend, dress up, dance ballet, and talk non-stop! 

11.   Today is our 7th year anniversary!  Time flies when you’re having fun!

We hope that you had a wonderful 2011 and have a happy new year.  We look forward to the New Year and all the new experiences we will have.  We are grateful for wonderful family and friends and hope that we will be able to see you soon!
